  1. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CDTV-USERS WITH KICKSTART ROM 1.3

  3. Due to the planned advanced features, I won't be able to
  4. maintain compatibility with Kickstart 1.3. 
  5.  
  6. THIS IS THE LAST VERSION THAT WORKS WITH KICKSTART 1.3.

  8. So there are now two possibilities for you:

  10. 1. Upgrade to KICKSTART ROM 2.0:
  11.    This is possible with CDTV-Machines. C= USA used to 
  12.    produce this chip for developers only, but if they
  13.    see, that there is a need for other people I think
  14.    it might be sold to the "normal" user. Please enquire
  15.    about this at C= in your country.

  17. 2. Send me a note stating that you want further support
  18.    for 1.3 Amigas. If there are enough people, then I
  19.    might do two versions. One for 2.0 or higher with more
  20.    advanced features and one for 1.3 users, which will
  21.    match as close as possible.

  23. I would prefer solution 1, because programming under 1.3
  24. is really painful. So I might need some sort of support
  25. for 1.3 (small shareware fee or something...).

  36. Es gibt nun zwei Möglichkeiten:

  38. 1. Ein KICKSTART ROM 2.0 Upgrade:
  39.    Dies ist mit dem CDTV möglich. C= USA produzierte den Chip für
  40.    Entwickler, aber wenn sie sehen, daß das Interesse da ist,
  41.    dann wird es vielleicht auch an normale Benutzer verkauft.
  42.    Bitte wenden Sie sich an C= in Ihrem Land.

  44. 2. Schreiben Sir mir, daß Sie weiterhin Unterstützung für 1.3 
  45.    Amigas wünschen. Wenn es genügend Leute gibt, dann könnte
  46.    ich zwei Version schreiben. Eine für 2.0 oder höher, die 
  47.    ausgereiftere Features beinhalten wird und eine für 1.3
  48.    Benutzer, die dem möglichst nahe kommt.

  50. I würde Lösung 1 vorziehen, da die Programmierung unter 1.3
  51. sehr umständlich ist. Ich könnte eine Art Unterstützung für 1.3
  52. brauchen (kleine Shareware Gebühr oder etwas ähnliches...).
